Somerset Falls

Somerset Falls is a tiered cascade in Hope Bay that descends through limestone rock formations. The falling water creates natural pools surrounded by thick tropical vegetation and stone barriers.

The location was once part of a Spanish colonial plantation where indigo and spices were grown. Water channels built during that settlement period remain visible in the landscape today.

The falls serve as a gathering place where locals and visitors come together to enjoy the natural surroundings. People swim, rest in the pools, and spend time along the water, making it a social hub for the community.

The site is accessible most days of the week with paths leading to the water pools. Good walking shoes are helpful since some routes cross wet stones and tree roots.

A boat journey leads to hidden falls tucked within a limestone cave where swimmers can dive into deep natural pools. This less-visited section offers a completely different experience from the main waterfalls.
