Jardins de Juberri, Mountain garden in Sant Julià de Lòria, Andorra.
Jardins de Juberri is a mountain park in Sant Julià de Lòria situated at 1,250 meters elevation. The grounds blend natural vegetation with geometric patterns and animal sculptures arranged throughout the landscape.
The gardens began in 2005 following an agreement between a local resident and the municipality. This partnership made possible the development of an artistic space integrated with the mountain landscape.
The sculptures throughout the gardens depict local animals, exotic species, and miniature models of regional churches created by a single artist. These works reflect how the community connects nature, art, and religious heritage in a mountain setting.
Plan about one hour to explore all the installations at a comfortable pace; the paths are clearly marked and easy to follow. Free parking is available outside the grounds, and there is no admission charge.
Enormous hand sculptures appear to cradle trees throughout the grounds, creating an unusual conversation between contemporary art and the mountain environment. This distinctive feature surprises visitors and becomes a memorable photo point.
