Bumarek i Fadromka, Dwarf statue in Gajowice, Wrocław, Poland.

Bumarek i Fadromka depicts two small figures seated inside an excavator bucket on Grabiszyńska Street. The sculpture is mounted in front of a former industrial building, with the heavy machinery creating a striking contrast to the delicate human forms.

The sculpture was created by artist Beata Zwolańska-Hołod in 2011 to honor the Bumar and Fadroma factories that once operated in this location. It marks the industrial past of this Wrocław neighborhood.

These two figures belong to Wrocław's collection of dwarves, which are now scattered throughout the city. What started as protest art has become a celebrated and distinctive part of how locals and visitors experience public spaces.

The sculpture sits at street level and is easy to reach on foot during daylight hours. Visitors should expect typical urban surroundings and the possibility of wet conditions, especially after rain.

The two dwarves sit directly inside the excavator bucket as though they are operating the heavy machinery, creating a humorous scene. This playful composition suggests the idea of small figures commanding industrial equipment.
