Krasnal Płucek

Krasnal Płucek is a small bronze dwarf sculpture positioned in the Gajowice neighborhood, part of an extensive collection that dots the city's streets. The figure remains accessible at any time and can be easily spotted and photographed by passers-by.

The first dwarf sculpture of this kind appeared in Wrocław in 2001 and sparked a continuous expansion of the collection. The project grew organically as more artists and community groups contributed new figures to the streets over the following years.

These dwarf figures emerged from a grassroots artistic movement that turned Wrocław's streets into a shared canvas for creative expression. They demonstrate how small sculptures can transform everyday corners into places where people stop and notice the art around them.
