Sky Tower, Skyscraper in Wrocław, Poland
Sky Tower is a postmodern skyscraper in Wrocław standing 212 meters tall (696 feet), divided into 51 floors above ground and four basement levels. The structure combines residential units, office space, and a shopping center within a single building.
Construction began in December 2007 on the site where the Poltegor Centre once stood. The building was completed in 2012 after five years of work.
The building features a permanent exhibition of Salvador Dali's sculpture 'Profile of Time' at its base, on loan from the Dali Museum in Paris.
An observation deck on the 49th floor admits visitors every 30 minutes in groups of up to 50 people. Ticket prices vary by season, with reduced rates available for certain visitor categories.
A permanent sculpture by Salvador Dalí titled Profile of Time stands at the base of the tower, on loan from the Dalí Museum in Paris. This art installation creates an unusual contrast with the modern architecture of the building.
