Faksymilka

Faksymilka is a bronze dwarf statue among more than 400 similar figures placed throughout Wrocław's streets and squares. The small sculpture displays individual characteristics and contributes to a vast collection of public artworks that spans the entire city.

This statue was installed on November 10, 2014, and connects to the Orange Alternative movement of the 1980s when dwarfs became symbols of resistance against communist control. The project continued an artistic tradition that began during that period.
