Trójkuć Wywiadek, Dwarf statue at Świebodzka Footbridge in Stare Miasto, Poland
Trójkuć Wywiadek is a bronze dwarf statue in Wrocław's Old Town that holds a microphone and wears headphones. The figure stands near the Tadek Jasiński Boulevard close to the Promenada Staromiejska area.
The statue was installed in April 2015 and belongs to a collection of over 300 dwarf figures that grew from the Orange Alternative, an anti-communist art movement. This movement started in the 1980s as a form of artistic resistance in the city.
The dwarf holds headphones and a microphone, expressing a connection to broadcasting and media. This choice reflects how radio became woven into the city's everyday life and cultural identity.
The statue is located in the Old Town district and remains accessible every day without special entry requirements. Visitors can get an official map of all dwarf figures to explore others throughout the city.
This figure is the first dwarf statue in Wrocław dedicated to a radio station. Its name was chosen through a public competition where listeners of Radio Channel Three voted on the selection.
