Koronuś

The bronze figure of Koronuś stands near the Hansel & Gretel houses, joining over 300 similar statues spread throughout the streets of Wrocław.

The statue, installed in July 2019, continues the tradition of dwarf monuments that began in 2001 as a commemoration of the anti-communist Orange Alternative movement.

These bronze figures represent the spirit of resistance through art, transforming Wrocław's urban space into an open gallery of small-scale public sculptures.

The statue's position in the central district makes it easily accessible, with maps available at tourist offices for 6 złoty to guide visitors.

Each dwarf in Wrocław tells its own narrative through detailed design, contributing to a collection that includes more than 600 individual characters across the city.
