Studentka Klaudia

Studentka Klaudia is a bronze figure of a female student depicted in a seated position on the ground located near the Hansel and Gretel Houses in the Ołbin district. The figure shows details in clothing and posture that convey the pose of a young woman going about student life.

The figure was installed in 2022 following a tradition that began in 1980 with the Orange Alternative movement, an artistic response to the political climate of that time. This movement shaped Wroclaw's artistic character and eventually led to the creation of one of Europe's largest networks of figure collections in a city.

The name "Studentka Klaudia" refers to a female student figure seated on the ground, reflecting the academic nature of the neighborhood. She is part of a large collection of bronze figures that shape the urban landscape and accompany residents and visitors in daily life.

The statue is located near recognizable landmarks and is easy to reach on foot, especially when exploring the neighborhood. Dwarf maps and specialized apps help locate all the figures throughout the city systematically.
