Karmelia

Karmelia is a bronze figure situated among more than 300 dwarf sculptures scattered throughout the streets and squares of Stare Miasto in Wrocław. The statue features detailed craftsmanship and can be spotted by pedestrians as they walk through the historic district.

The statue was installed in 2021, continuing a tradition that began in 2001 as a memorial to the anti-communist Orange Alternative movement. The collection of dwarf figures has grown over the years into an extensive project that defines the character of the city.
