Krasnal Kyndrylka

Krasnal Kyndrylka is a small bronze sculpture in Muchobór Mały that holds a book containing stories of about thirty notable residents of the city. The book is written in two languages and presents their personal narratives in an accessible format.

The statue was unveiled in 2021 and is part of a collection of over 400 dwarfs scattered throughout the city. These figures originated from an artistic movement that started in the 1980s as a form of protest against the political system.

The bronze figure holds a bilingual book that weaves together Polish and German stories, giving voice to notable people from the city's past. This language pairing reflects how the place has been shaped by different communities over time.

The sculpture is located in Muchobór Mały and can be easily reached on foot using a basic city map. The best time to visit is during daylight when the light shows off the bronze figure clearly.

The book held by the figure was a project of a local art publisher and was released along with a special map. On this map are marked all the places connected to the people featured in the book, guiding visitors on a hidden exploration journey across the city.
