Emdeczek

Emdeczek is a bronze dwarf figure positioned among hundreds of small sculptures scattered across streets and squares throughout Wrocław. The work forms part of an outdoor collection of these distributed monuments.

This figure continues the tradition of dwarf monuments that originated from the Orange Alternative movement during Poland's communist period in the 1980s. The statue was added in 2024, extending this artistic tradition into the modern era.
