France Aventures Lyon FORT DE BRON, Adventure park in Fort de Bron, France
France Aventures Lyon FORT DE BRON is an outdoor adventure park where visitors move through six different treetop courses. Each course features wooden bridges and steel cables strung between mature trees, with difficulty levels ranging from beginner to advanced.
Fort de Bron was built between 1875 and 1878 as part of Lyon's defense network against potential invasions from neighboring regions. The fort gradually changed purpose over the decades and now serves as a recreational venue for outdoor activities.
The park sits within a former military fortress, mixing historical spaces with modern recreation in a way locals and visitors find engaging. Walking through areas once used for defense, you experience how the old fort has taken on a completely different life.
Visitors receive safety gloves to wear on the courses and can use secure lockers for storing belongings during their visit. Free parking is available, and you can spend as much time as you want moving between the different courses.
The park offers Explor Games, which combines tree climbing with digital challenges on tablets while you navigate the courses. This mixes physical climbing with interactive problem-solving in a way that keeps you engaged throughout your visit.
