Parc d'aventure et paintball Oihana, Adventure park and paintball center in Urrugne, France.
Oihana is a recreation facility with tree climbing courses and a paintball area in Urrugne. The climbing routes are divided into seven difficulty levels and offer more than 120 different activities at varying heights.
The facility opened in 2007 and became the main outdoor recreation hub in the French Basque region. Since its launch, it has established itself as a leading venue for adventure activities in the area.
The park uses names from local mountain ranges and natural landmarks of the Basque region across its different sections. Visitors encounter this regional connection as they move through the various activity areas.
Advance booking is required for the climbing routes, and all necessary safety gear is provided. Activities are available from age three, with qualified staff providing guidance and supervision throughout.
During summer months, visitors aged twelve and over can explore the forest by night using headlamps along specially lit paths. These after-dark climbing sessions create a different perspective of the same routes.
