Galaxy, Shopping mall in Śródmieście, Szczecin, Poland
Galaxy is a three-level shopping center in downtown Szczecin covering approximately 59,500 square meters and housing 200 stores. The retailers span fashion, electronics, home goods, and everyday essentials across its connected spaces.
The complex was established in 2003 by Echo Investment as a major retail development for the city center. A significant expansion occurred in 2017 when the former Orbis Neptun hotel was demolished to allow for increased shopping space.
This place serves as a community gathering spot where people come together to shop, meet friends, and encounter rotating exhibitions from local creators. The corridors and open spaces become places where the neighborhood comes alive throughout the day.
The center is located on Wyzwolenia Avenue with extensive parking available through underground and multistory facilities accommodating about 1,500 vehicles. Operating hours run Monday through Saturday from 9 AM to 9 PM, providing ample shopping time throughout the day.
The center houses a large Auchan hypermarket covering around 7,700 square meters, offering groceries and daily necessities alongside retail shopping in one location. A Multikino cinema, bowling alley, and fitness center complement the shopping experience with additional activities.
