Village Flaminio
Village Flaminio is a campground in Rome with tent pitches, caravan spaces, and modern bungalows set within Veio Natural Park. The site spans about 80,000 square meters of shaded grounds and offers accommodations alongside a restaurant, pool, shop, and bar.
The site has been operated by the same family since the early 1970s and has continuously evolved. The family focused on improving facilities and providing guests with comfort and quality care.
The name Flaminio comes from the ancient Via Flaminia, a historic Roman road that passed through this area. Visitors experience here the blend of proximity to the city and connection to nature that characterizes the region.
The campground is within walking distance of bus stops and a train station, providing easy access to the city center. Visitors should note that a shuttle service runs from reception to the camping area, making it simple to move around the site.
The on-site restaurant L'Ottavo Colle is known for its wood-fired pizzas and grilled meats served in a casual setting. The pool with its sun loungers and umbrellas serves as a gathering spot for visitors looking to relax after a day exploring the city.
