Camping Bella Torino, Campsite in Pianezza, Italy
Camping Bella Torino is a campsite in Pianezza, a small town just outside Turin in northern Italy. It offers pitches for tents and campervans, along with facilities that include bathrooms, water and electricity hookups, a pool, and a dog park.
The campsite was opened in 2014 by Marco and Alessandro, a father and son who wanted to share their passion for camping with others. It runs from late March to early November each year.
The staff at the campsite speak good French, which many travelers from French-speaking countries find helpful. The pitches are surrounded by thick bushes and trees, giving each stay a natural, outdoor feel.
The campsite is close to walking paths and natural parks, and nearby shops, bars, and pharmacies make it easy to stock up on supplies. A shuttle service connects the camp to Turin, so getting into the city does not require a car.
Close to the campsite is Fattoria del Gelato, a local farm where visitors can taste fresh ice cream and watch how it is made. Many guests make a stop there and find it one of the most enjoyable outings from the camp.
