Lavanderia a Vapore

Lavanderia a Vapore is a performing arts center in Collegno featuring a 224-seat theater, multiple rehearsal studios, and an open courtyard space. The facilities accommodate contemporary dance performances, theater productions, and musical events throughout the year.

Built between 1870 and 1875 by Engineer Luigi Fenoglio, the building originally functioned as a laundry facility for the Royal Mental Hospital of Collegno. It has since been repurposed and has been managed by Fondazione LIVE Piemonte dal Vivo since 2015.

The name reflects its past life as a steam laundry facility. Today visitors experience contemporary dance performances and theater productions in this repurposed space that blends history with modern artistic expression.
