Càmping Les Illes, Family campground in Montseny Natural Park, Spain
This campground spreads across a small valley between Matagalls and Les Agudes peaks, with grassy pitches positioned near the Tordera River. Mountain views are visible from many of the camping spots.
This location started as a farmhouse in the Montseny region and later grew into a camping facility. Today it continues to preserve the natural surroundings of the biosphere reserve.
The cottages here are named after local tree species: El Faig (beech), El Grèvol (holly), and El Ginebró (juniper). These names connect visitors with the plants that shape the valley and its character.
The facility sits around one hour north of Barcelona in the hills and is accessible by car or on foot from nearby trails. It offers approximately 150 pitches with electrical connections, hot water, and a swimming pool for guests.
The campground sits roughly 20 minutes from where the Tordera River begins, one of Catalonia's main water sources. Visitors can easily walk to the source and see where this important river originates.
