Asheville Treetops Adventure Park, Aerial adventure course in Asheville, United States
Asheville Treetops Adventure Park is an aerial course facility with seven different trails spanning from ground to treetop level. The routes feature approximately 77 climbing, walking, jumping, swinging, and rappelling challenges anchored throughout the trees and support structures.
The Adventure Center of Asheville created this treetop facility to expand outdoor recreation options in Western North Carolina's mountain communities. It developed as part of growing interest in aerial adventure activities across the region.
The park incorporates elements representing North Carolina's activities, including an aerial sky kayak and suspended snowboard challenges within its course design.
Participants need to weigh under 120 kilograms and wear closed-toe shoes before starting any course. Mandatory safety instruction is required for all visitors, and a reasonable fitness level helps ensure everyone completes their chosen trail safely.
Summer evenings bring illuminated climbing structures with colored lighting that transform the experience for those visiting after dark. This nighttime version changes how visitors perceive the familiar routes and adds a different dimension to the challenge.
