Entrée Nord
Entrée Nord is the northern entrance gate of the zoo in Saint-Aignan, France, giving access to the large animal park. From this point, wide paths fan out toward different sections of the park, each marked with clear signage.
The zoo in Saint-Aignan was founded in the second half of the 20th century and grew steadily into one of the largest animal parks in France. The northern entrance was added as the park expanded to handle a growing number of visitors.
It is a good idea to pick up a park map at this entrance and plan your route before setting off, as the park is large and spread across several themed areas. The entrance area is accessible for wheelchairs and strollers.
This entrance is close to the Equatorial Dome, one of the most recognizable structures in the park, so visitors who enter here often discover it early in their visit. Starting from this gate tends to lead naturally through a counterclockwise loop that covers most of the animal areas.
