Restaurant Limón, Rooftop restaurant with terrace in Vienna, Austria.
Restaurant Limón occupies the eighth floor of the Grand Ferdinand hotel, featuring an open-air terrace that provides panoramic views over Vienna's cityscape while serving Mediterranean cuisine from Italy, France, and Spain.
The restaurant opened as part of the Grand Ferdinand hotel project, designed by hospitality expert Florian Weitzer to create a rooftop dining destination that would bring southern European culinary traditions to Vienna's skyline.
The establishment celebrates Mediterranean aperitivo culture through its bar concept, featuring Italian-inspired cocktails and small plates that reflect the relaxed social dining customs of southern Europe's coastal regions.
Open Tuesday through Saturday from 17:00 to 24:00, the restaurant accepts reservations by phone at +43 (0) 1 90 211 or email at restaurant@cucinalimon.com, with walk-ins welcome subject to availability.
The venue combines rooftop dining with an infinity pool area that remains exclusive to hotel guests and club members during daytime hours, creating a resort-like atmosphere in Vienna's urban center.

Vienna has several rooftop bars and restaurants that provide a different view of the city. These establishments located on the rooftops of buildings and hotels in the city center offer drinks, cocktails prepared by always inventive bartenders, and gourmet menus, while offering a clear view of the historic neighborhoods and the architecture of the Austrian capital. Among these venues are the 57 Restaurant and Lounge, which combines modern dining with a lounge space, Dachboden at the top floor of the 25hours Hotel with its view of Vienna’s rooftops, and Chez Bernard, offering French cuisine with a view of the historic city. Other places like Aurora Rooftop Bar stand out for their creative cocktail lists, while Das Loft Bar and Lounge at the top of the SO Vienna hotel provides a contemporary setting to enjoy the urban landscape. These 'altitude' sites offer a different way to explore Vienna, observing its monuments, streets, and curves from an elevated viewpoint while enjoying a relaxing moment with a drink or a comforting meal.
