Fontana Capello

Fontana Capello is a natural waterfall that flows from an underground spring into a rocky basin surrounded by dense vegetation and ferns. The water emerges from the earth and pools in this stone basin before continuing downstream.

The site is called 'Hair of Venus' because of the maidenhair ferns that grow around the waterfall, giving it a mythical reputation in local stories. You can see these delicate fern fronds in their natural setting when you visit.
