This 65-meter tall wooden observation tower features a 360-degree viewing platform offering panoramic views over the Brocken mountain and Harz National Park landscape.

The Harzturm opened in November 2023 as a new tourist attraction built by an investor from Hildesheim with an 8-million-euro budget investment.

The tower represents modern architectural interpretation of natural forms with its tree trunk design made from regional wood materials reflecting local building traditions.

The tower operates daily from 10:00 to 16:00 with adult admission at 15 euros and children aged 6-15 paying 7.50 euros for access.

The facility includes a 110-meter adventure slide called Rasantia with sound and light effects plus a glass skywalk offering aerial perspectives.
