Kamień św. Wojciecha, głaz narzutowy

Kamień św. Wojciecha is a large granite boulder near the village of Budziejewko, south of Mieścisko, protected as a natural monument. The red granite measures over 20 meters around and extends approximately 7.5 meters in length, with a significant portion buried beneath the ground.

The stone was carried to this region during the last ice age and has stood here for over 180 years. Since 1840 it has been registered as a protected natural monument, ensuring its preservation.

The stone bears the name of Saint Wojciech and is deeply tied to local traditions about preaching and miraculous events passed down through generations. Visitors leave flowers and tokens of respect here, showing how these beliefs remain alive in the community today.

The site is accessible by small rural roads and is often visited by car or bicycle. The area is suitable for peaceful walks, with simple but well-maintained paths around the monument.

Four oak trees were planted around the stone in 1990, each named after significant figures such as Pope John Paul II and Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski. These trees connect the site to important people in local history and faith.
