Aire de jeux pour chiens
The dog play area in the 5th arrondissement is a dedicated space with agility equipment including inclined ramps and tunnels for dogs to navigate. Multiple dogs can run and play freely within the fenced area while their owners supervise them.
This space opened on May 23, 2022, as Paris's first dedicated dog play area, located beside Jardin Tino-Rossi along the Seine. It was created to meet the needs of dog owners seeking a safe place where their pets could exercise freely.
Access is from Quai Saint-Bernard directly beside Jardin Tino-Rossi near the riverbank. The area is securely fenced and spacious enough for several dogs to play at the same time without crowding.
The investment of around 25,000 euros demonstrates the district's commitment to dog owners' needs. Plans to add more agility equipment are already underway and could expand the offerings soon.
