Domaine Thermal du Mercantour
Domaine Thermal du Mercantour is a thermal bath facility in Roquebillière with several pools filled with mineral-rich water heated to about 35 degrees Celsius (95 degrees Fahrenheit). The site includes a steam room, sauna, outdoor jacuzzi, and a terrace with loungers overlooking the surrounding mountains.
The thermal springs have been used by the local community as a healing resource for generations. The facility has grown over many years while preserving the natural character and original significance of the mineral springs.
The name Berthemont-les-Bains reflects the historical link between thermal waters and local wellness traditions. Visitors today still experience the same emphasis on rest and natural healing that has defined this mountain community for generations.
The facility is wheelchair accessible with parking near the entrance. Plan to spend several hours enjoying the warm pools and steam rooms, and visit during the warmer months from late June to early November when it is open.
The water comes from natural mineral springs rich in minerals and long known for their effects on rheumatism and respiratory issues. Many visitors report improvements in their symptoms after several visits, which explains the enduring appeal of this natural source.
