Tête de Siruol

Tête de Siruol is a mountain summit in the Southern French Alps featuring steep slopes and prominent ridges. The peak stands at the heart of rugged terrain that separates two major river valleys.

The summit has served as a geographical landmark for shepherds and travelers since medieval times. Over centuries, routes crossing this region became established pathways through the mountains.

The hike starts from Granges de la Brasque and takes about 7 hours for the full round trip. Bring sturdy boots, plenty of water, and layers since weather can shift quickly on the exposed ridges.

On clear days, the summit offers views that stretch simultaneously toward the Mediterranean, the Mercantour peaks, and the island of Corsica. This rare combination of distant landmarks visible from one spot makes the vista memorable.
