The Point de vue de la plage de Torimbia is a clifftop scenic viewpoint near Llanes, in Asturias, Spain, offering a top-down view of a shell-shaped sandy bay enclosed by steep cliffs covered in green vegetation. A simple railing marks the edge of the lookout, and a few benches allow visitors to sit and take in the view below.
The village of Niembro, just below the viewpoint, has been a fishing settlement on the Llanes coast for generations, and the bay it overlooks was long known only to locals. The area began drawing wider attention from the 1960s onward, when the beach started welcoming visitors from outside the region.
Torimbia beach has been known as a naturist-friendly spot since the 1960s, and today clothed and unclothed bathers share the sand without friction. This easy coexistence gives the place a relaxed, open character that visitors quickly notice when they arrive.
The viewpoint is reached by a short walk from the nearest parking area along an uneven dirt path, so sturdy footwear is a good idea. There are no food or drink facilities on site, so bringing your own water and snacks is worth planning ahead.
The beach below has no bins or waste facilities at all, which means every visitor must carry their rubbish back out with them. As a result, the sand stays noticeably clean despite the number of people who visit during summer.
