Eco Green Campus [Daegwallyeong Samyang Ranch], Ranch and tourist attraction in Pyeongchang-gun, South Korea

Eco Green Campus, also known as Daegwallyeong Samyang Ranch, is a working highland farm and tourist attraction in Pyeongchang-gun, South Korea. The site sits on a plateau in the Daegwallyeong area at elevations ranging from 850 to 1470 meters, with open pastures where cattle, sheep, and ostriches graze across rolling hills.

The ranch was established by the Samyang Corporation, a Korean company widely known for its instant noodles, which invested early in farming across these highlands. Over time, the site opened to visitors and grew into one of the largest highland farm operations in Asia.

The ranch became a filming location for the Korean drama 'Autumn in my Heart' and the film 'Lover's Concerto', and fans of these productions sometimes visit to find the spots they recognize. One of the most visited points is a solitary old tree called the 'Tree of Lover's Concerto', which stands on a slope at over 1000 meters and is especially popular in autumn when the surrounding colors change.

The site is very large and requires a fair amount of walking, so comfortable shoes and enough time are recommended. A shuttle bus runs between the main stops within the farm from May to November; outside these months, getting around on foot is the main option.

The Samyang Corporation, which runs this ranch, is the same company that produces the internationally known 'Buldak' fire noodles, making this a rare place where the same brand connects instant food with highland dairy farming. On clear days, visitors standing at the Dong Hae Observatory at 1140 meters can see the East Sea far in the distance, which is an unexpected sight from the middle of a farm.
