Zebín is a cone-shaped volcanic hill standing 399 meters high and displaying basalt rock formations with an abandoned quarry on its southwestern slope. Multiple hiking trails with safety chains on steep sections lead from the nearby village church to the summit chapel.
This volcanic hill formed during ancient geological activity in the region. In 1700, a Baroque chapel dedicated to Mary Magdalene was built at the summit, becoming a lasting landmark on the landscape.

The hike to the summit takes between 30 and 60 minutes depending on which path you choose and your pace. Wear sturdy shoes and bring water, especially during warmer months when the slopes are more crowded with visitors exploring the trails.
The Baroque chapel at the summit is surprisingly small and can be easily overlooked when you finally reach the top. This modest building contrasts with the effort required to climb and creates an unexpected moment for many visitors.
