Jubilee Synagogue, Art Nouveau synagogue in New Town, Czech Republic
The Jerusalem Synagogue displays a combination of Moorish Revival and Art Nouveau styles with two towers flanking the central entrance and rose window.
Built between 1905 and 1906, the synagogue replaced three previous Jewish houses of worship that were demolished during Prague's urban renewal program.
The interior features traditional Jewish symbols, including the Star of David, grape vine motifs, and the Ten Commandments mounted above the church veil.
Regular religious services take place in the synagogue, which accommodates 850 people with separate galleries and entrances designated for female worshippers.
The synagogue contains an original organ by Emanuel Stephen Peter and serves as both a religious center and cultural venue for concerts.
