Šporkův palác

Šporkův palác is a building from two construction periods in Malá Strana that shows both Renaissance and Baroque features. The facade displays intricate stonework and ornate details, while the interior holds similarly refined rooms with carved elements and artistic decorations throughout.

The palace was built in the 1720s when aristocrats were constructing grand residences across Malá Strana. Its structure combines older Renaissance foundations with later Baroque modifications that were added to update the building over time.

The palace shows features from different building periods that together form a visual record of changes in Prague's architectural taste. Visitors can see how Renaissance and Baroque forms sit side by side, reflecting the shifting preferences of generations who lived and worked here.
