Chapel of Our Lady of Help, Religious chapel in Líšeň, Czech Republic.

The Chapel of Our Lady of Help is a small pilgrimage chapel on Kostelíček hill in Brno-Líšeň, built in 1914 to resemble the original 1630 wooden chapel. It has a tower that once held two bells and is surrounded by a former arcade with three smaller chapels at its corners.

Baroness Eliška Bergrová had a wooden chapel built on the hill in 1630 after her blind son reportedly saw the Virgin Mary there. A brick chapel consecrated by Olomouc bishop František z Ditrichštejna on 11 June 1634 replaced it, and Joseph II had it demolished in 1784. The present chapel, funded by parishioners and Count Ludvík Belcredi, was completed in 1914 for 6,000 crowns.

The chapel is dedicated to Our Lady of Help, called Panna Marie Líšeňská after its 1914 rebuilding. The main pilgrimage was held on 2 July, the Feast of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary, and a hermit once lived beside the chapel as guardian and helped at Masses.

The chapel is accessible by public transportation or private vehicle. It helps to contact the local tourism office beforehand to confirm opening times and any restrictions for visitors.

The iron cross with a stone base in front of the chapel was erected in 1803 (or 1805 according to some sources) by the Švehla couple and renovated in 1904. The hill was planted with acacia trees in 1879, and since 2008 large stones on the access path have blocked cars from driving up.
