Miniature park Miniuni

Miniature park Miniuni is an amusement park in Ostrava featuring more than 30 detailed models of European buildings built at a scale of 1:25. These replicas include cathedrals, town halls, and other structures from various regions across the continent.

The park opened in 2004 following the Czech Republic's entry into the European Union, and was taken over by the city of Ostrava two years later. This connection to European integration shaped its early development.

The replicas represent landmarks from across Europe, allowing visitors to encounter significant buildings from multiple countries in one location without traveling far.

The site is open from March to December with seasonal hours that change throughout this period. Visitors should prepare for outdoor conditions and dress appropriately depending on the weather at the time of their visit.

Miniature trains travel on small tracks connecting the models, while model boats navigate canals and a lake during summer months. These moving features bring an interactive quality to the landscape.
