The Jiří Myron Theatre operates as part of the National Moravian-Silesian Theatre, presenting opera, drama, ballet, and musical performances in a neo-renaissance building.
The theatre emerged from the Reader Committee Society's initiative in the 1890s, leading to the construction of the National house designed by architect Josef Srba.
