Horní nádrž Dlouhé Stráně

Located at an elevation of 1350 meters in the Jeseníky Mountains, this upper reservoir spans 15.4 hectares with a depth of 26 meters.

Construction of the reservoir commenced in 1978 as part of the Dlouhé Stráně pumped storage power station, reaching completion in 1996.

The facility represents a major advancement in Czech engineering, demonstrating the nation's commitment to sustainable energy production through hydroelectric technology.

Visitors can reach the reservoir via an 8-kilometer asphalt road designed for pedestrians and cyclists, with guided tours available at the facility.

The reservoir contains 2.72 million cubic meters of water and connects to an underground power station through two 1.5-kilometer-long water conduits.
