Liščí hora, Mountain summit in Krkonošsko-jesenická range, Czech Republic

Fuchsberg (Liščí hora) is a summit in the central Krkonoše, about 3.5 km west of Pec pod Sněžkou and 6 km southwest of Sněžka. Its top is covered with dwarf pine, lower slopes with spruce forest, and the Sokol saddle at 1,084 m separates it from Černá hora. A viewing rest spot east of the summit looks toward Sněžka and Studniční hora.

The ridge between Černá hora and Liščí hora, crossed by the Sokol pass at 1,084 m, forms the watershed of the Elbe and Úpa rivers and carries an old administrative boundary dating back to the founding of Vrchlabí. The red-marked ridge trail below the summit is part of the Krkonošská magistrála, a long-distance ski route from Harrachov to Žacléř. The green trail follows the Schlesierweg, a smugglers' and trade path linking Vrchlabí and Karpacz since the mid-12th century.

The red-marked ridge trail across the Liščí louka meadow doubles as a cross-country ski route in winter and forms part of the Krkonošská magistrála, the long-distance trail linking Harrachov with Žacléř. The yellow trail from the meadow descends to Černý Důl, while the green route passes Dvorské boudy and Friesovy boudy on its way to Strážné.

Multiple marked trails approach the summit from different starting points around the area. Winter visits require proper equipment and experience with snow conditions on the slopes.

The summit is covered with dwarf mountain pine, and only lichens survive at the top; these lichens support a community of plant-eating bugs, spiders and wood-dwelling beetles that feeds birds such as the black redstart. The Liščí hora lies in Krkonošský národní park, founded in 1963 and a UNESCO biosphere reserve since 1992.
