Zámek Liteň

Zámek Liteň is a Baroque château with four wings surrounding a central courtyard and forming a cohesive structure. The estate is complemented by a French garden featuring a grotto and valuable specimen trees.

Construction began in 1648, and Count Jaroslav Kuňata of Bubna and Litice later transformed the original structure into a Baroque château following damage from Swedish military campaigns. This transformation defined the appearance of the site for centuries to come.

The château serves as a venue for the Festival Jarmily Novotné, which celebrates the legacy of the celebrated Czech soprano through regular concerts and musical gatherings. The place has become a center for classical music performances in the region.
