Kaňk

Kaňk is a mountain summit near Kutná Hora with an observation tower built from modern materials and traditional masonry, rising above the surrounding Bohemian landscape. The platform with its restaurant offers views across the medieval city and gently rolling hills in all directions.

The area around the summit shows traces of medieval mining that shaped the region's economy since the 13th century. The site was long a center of silver extraction before the industry gradually declined over time.

The tower is accessible on foot via stairs or by elevator, making it easy to reach for visitors with varying abilities. The platform remains partially sheltered during rain or strong winds and stays safe to walk on.
