Městské divadlo Zlín is a theatre on třída Tomáše Bati in central Zlín, built in 1960–1967 to a design by Miroslav and Karel Řepa, developed by František Rozhon's team. It opened on 11 November 1967 with Jiří Mahen's Janošík, Miroslav Moravec in the title role, directed by Karel Pokorný. A smaller stage, Divadélko v klubu, followed on 25 November 1967.

Professional theatre founded on 14 August 1946 as Divadlo pracujících, opening on 17 September 1946 with Jan Drda's Hrátky s čertem in the adapted Komorní kino. A 1959 competition won by Miroslav and Karel Řepa, detailed by František Rozhon's team, led to construction from 1960 to 1967. The new building on třída Tomáše Bati opened on 11 November 1967 with Jiří Mahen's Janošík, directed by Karel Pokorný with Miroslav Moravec in the title role.

The theatre has staged an annual festival, Setkání–Stretnutie, showcasing original dramatic work mainly from Czech and Slovak theatres. Its glazed entrance hall doubles as an exhibition gallery, and the building also hosts balls, concerts and children's events.
