Sněžné věžičky, Rock summit in the Jizera Mountains, Czech Republic

Schneetürmchen is a rock formation comprising three towers in the Jizera Mountains, with the central tower reaching about 10 meters and featuring an observation deck accessed by metal stairs with safety railings. The towers provide views across the surrounding mountain landscape from the top.

The towers are frost-weathered granite outcrops of Černá hora, shaped by freeze-thaw action rather than glacial ice. The name Haindorfer Schwarzer Berg records the German-speaking past of the Jizera Mountains before the 1945 expulsion of the German population.

The Czech name Sněžné věžičky means "Snow Towers"; the German name Haindorfer Schwarzer Berg links the rocks to Hejnice (Haindorf). The lowest of the three towers has a railed viewing platform reached by iron steps, facing Sněžná hlavička, the tower capped by a rock mushroom.

The climb takes about two hours from Hejnice and requires standard hiking gear plus good footing skills across varied elevation changes. Weather can shift quickly in the mountains, so arrive prepared for conditions that may change.

The mushroom-shaped rock cap crowns Sněžná hlavička, the most picturesque tower of the group, not the central tower. The lowest tower has a small railed viewing platform reached by iron steps, giving a view of that capped tower about 50 m from the third one.
