Rozštípená skála, Natural monument near Žďár nad Sázavou, Czech Republic.
The rock formation features a 10-meter-long and 2-meter-wide crack in its lower section, formed within the gneiss rock wall structure.
The natural monument received official protection status on July 18, 1974, initiating conservation efforts for this geological formation in the Vysočina region.
Local artist Michal Olšiak created a concrete mammoth head sculpture emerging from the ground near the rock formation, adding artistic value to the site.
Visitors can reach the site through red-marked hiking trails from Žďár nad Sázavou or yellow-marked paths from Česká Mez settlement.
The rock formation contains over 120 climbing routes, while the surrounding area houses bats, owls, and vipers within its natural habitat.
