The Church of Our Lady of Victories stands with its elaborate facade, black and gold altar, and distinct architectural elements from the early Baroque period.
German Lutherans constructed the initial church dedicated to Holy Trinity, but Ferdinand II transferred it to Carmelite order in 1624 after the Battle of White Mountain.
The church maintains traditional Roman Catholic services in multiple languages, including Czech, English, and Italian, serving an international congregation throughout the week.
The church opens daily from 8:30 to 18:00 Monday through Saturday, and until 19:00 on Sundays, with restricted access during religious services.
The underground crypt from 1666 contains coffins of Carmelites and supporters from the 17th and 18th centuries, despite water damage affecting its condition.
