Trojský tramvajový most, Former tram bridge in Holešovice, Czech Republic
Trojský tramvajový most was a steel truss bridge spanning the Vltava River, connecting the districts of Holešovice and Troja. The structure measured about 262 meters in length and carried tram line traffic on a single track.
The bridge opened in 1977 as a temporary solution during construction of the nearby Barikádníků bridge. It remained in operation for 36 years before its final closure.
The structure represented a practical engineering response to Prague's transportation needs, combining industrial design with municipal infrastructure development.
The site is no longer operational, but the remains are visible from the nearby riverbank. Visitors can explore the location from the footpath along the Vltava.
A section of original tram rail track remains on the left bank of the Vltava. This preserved piece serves as a reminder of the bridge's role in the city's transportation past.
