The Church of the Holy Spirit in Staré Město is a modern church built from 2002 to designs by Slovenian architect Ivo Goropevšek. Its massive front is formed by two towers standing for Saints Cyril and Methodius, their axes converging toward a single point, with a cross-shaped open space between them. The interior is still unfinished, with stained-glass windows among the elements yet to be completed.

The church was initiated in 2002 to a design by Slovenian architect Ivo Goropevšek, and Bishop Pavel Posád blessed it on 5 October 2014. Regular services began at the end of that year. The Jednota sv. Michala association, founded in 1907, had long sought a larger church than the small Church of St Michael, which seats about one hundred people.
