Buquoy Vault

The Buquoy Vault is a two-level Gothic chapel with a crypt below and an upper chamber, topped by a golden mosaic decoration of the Virgin Mary at its entrance. The structure holds eight burial chambers for family members, arranged within its stone walls.

The vault was constructed between 1902 and 1904, by which time the Buquoy family had owned the nearby castle for several generations. This period marked the family's established position as a leading noble household in the area.
