Nové Hrady Monastery

Nové Hrady Monastery is a Premonstratensian religious community in the Czech lands with Baroque architectural features including stone facades, vaulted ceilings, and ornamental detailing. The complex contains a church, monastic quarters, and courtyards that together form a cohesive ensemble of historical buildings.

The monastery was established in 1678 as a center for religious and educational work by the Premonstratensian community. It underwent periods of closure during the 20th century but resumed monastic functions and religious activities in the 1990s.
