Na Plachtě is a protected natural area in Hradec Králové with wetlands, forest sections, and open meadows that create varied habitats. Walking paths run through the site, allowing visitors to observe birds, insects, and plant species throughout the seasons.

From the 15th century the area was common pasture land; from the late 19th century it served as a military training ground, and in 1918–1939 as a military airfield. Sand extraction in 1945–1946 created the central pond. The natural monument was declared on 28 December 2013, merging the former Na Plachtě 1 and 2 reserves.

The name Plachta refers to the former military training ground, and grazing now shapes the site: since January 2018 Exmoor ponies from Milovice have been kept here, and since December 2022 two domestic water buffalo graze near the Jáma pond. Volunteers and associations take part in maintaining the locality.

Spring and summer are ideal times to visit when wildlife is active and plants are in bloom. Sturdy footwear is recommended, especially after rain, since paths cross through wetland areas.

Since January 2018 Exmoor ponies from Milovice military area grazed the site; most of the herd was later moved to other east Bohemian reserves because of drought. Since December 2022 a pair of domestic water buffalo has grazed near the Jáma pond.
