Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius, Roman Catholic church in Lužice, Czech Republic.

The Church of Saints Cyril and Methodius is the parish church of Lužice near Hodonín, built in 1872–1874 on the site of an earlier bell tower. It has a tower with a clock, a stone cross beside it, and a row of statues in the park in front.

The foundation stone was laid in 1872 on the site of an earlier bell tower, and the church was completed and consecrated in 1874 under the patronage of Saint Martin. In 1925 it received a new bell and changed its patron to Saints Cyril and Methodius. Two bells, Marie (315 kg) and Saints Cyril and Methodius (189 kg), were acquired from donations in 1997. A tornado damaged the surroundings on 24 June 2021, but the church itself was not damaged.

The church received its present dedication in 1925, when Saints Cyril and Methodius replaced Saint Martin as patrons; a new bell was acquired the same year. The altar painting of the two brothers, made by Jano Köhler in 1934, hangs in the presbytery. In 1997, two bells were bought from donations: Marie (315 kg) and Saints Cyril and Methodius (189 kg), blessed by R. D. Jan Kabeláč.

The church is accessible throughout the week and welcomes visitors who wish to attend services. Visitors should note that regular religious celebrations follow the Catholic liturgical calendar.
